Every Grandview Kids journey is unique, and your story has the power to help other families feel seen, supported and hopeful.
The Grandview Kids Ambassador Program invites clients, parents, guardians, siblings and caregivers to share their experiences and help raise awareness of the incredible impact of Grandview Kids. Ambassadors may choose to participate in awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, special events, media opportunities and more.
Whether you’re comfortable speaking at an event, appearing in a photo, participating in a video or simply sharing your story in writing, there is a role for you.
Why become an Ambassador?
✔ Help other families feel less alone on their journey
✔ Raise awareness about the needs and strengths of children and youth with physical, communication and developmental needs
✔ Support fundraising efforts that help Grandview Kids continue to grow and innovate
✔ Celebrate your family’s experiences and achievements
✔ Be part of a community of families making a difference

No experience needed
You don’t need public speaking experience or a polished story.
Our Ambassador Advisor, a member of our Family Engagement Team, will support you every step of the way, helping you share your experience in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful. Whether through an interview, photo session, video shoot, blog post or event appearance, we’ll work together to find the opportunity that’s right for you.
Participation is always voluntary, and you can choose opportunities that fit your comfort level, interests and availability.
Every story matters
We are always looking for new Ambassadors and especially welcome diverse voices and experiences from across our community. Your story could inspire another family, strengthen understanding and help shape a more inclusive future for children and youth.
If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador, or want to know more information, please email FamilyEngagement@grandviewkids.ca.
Dates of significance and client stories
Each month, Grandview Kids highlights dates of significance, including clinical and medical awareness dates, religious observances, important events or other significant moments within the community. See each month for a list of client and family stories shared and made possible by collaborative work with our Ambassadors.
We also share a broader list of additional dates of significance. See a date of significance and want to contribute? Contact FamilyEngagement@grandviewkids.ca to express your interest in becoming an Ambassador.
