The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a motivated group of youths provide feedback to Grandview Kids on how to improve programs and services. They also plan, host and volunteer at events, earning valuable volunteer hours while working alongside peers.
The YAC plays a critical role in making Grandview Kids for inclusive for all, offering key insights that may differ from the parent/caregiver perspective. It also offers youth the opportunity to develop advocacy skills and be directly involved in creating possibilities for younger generations of Grandview Kids clients.
YAC members can be current Grandview Kids clients, former clients (grads) or siblings to clients. All members must be between the ages of 12 and 25-years-old.
We will be seeking new members to join the YAC, beginning in Fall 2026.
