Who can submit a referral to Grandview Kids?
Referrals to Grandview Kids can be made by anyone concerned about a child or youth’s development. This includes parents, caregivers, youth, physicians, healthcare providers and school staff.
When should you submit a referral?
If you notice any challenges with the development of a child or youth in your care, at any stage, we encourage you to reach out. Early support can make all the difference.
How to submit a referral
We welcome you to submit all referral forms electronically through the Ocean eReferral platform. Here is how to get started:
1: Visit www.grandviewkids.ca/refer
- You can also access the referral portal via the “Submit a Referral” button on the grandviewkids.ca homepage (see screenshot below).

2: Once you are on the referral page, select the referral approach that best matches your needs (Parent/Caregiver, Myself, Physician/Healthcare Provider, School Staff).
3: Follow the instructions on the web page to complete the referral.
Note: If you have received an invitation for a specific program, such as Entry to School or Caregiver-Mediated Early Years, you can process your child’s referral via this page.

To submit a referral, you’ll need to provide your contact details, as well as the client’s name, address, phone number and areas of concern. The process takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and can be done on any device, such as a phone, tablet or computer.
Once your referral is submitted, our Service Navigation Team will aim to follow up within 5-7 business days. Our Service Navigation Team connects clients and families with programs and services at Grandview Kids and provides them with helpful resources in the community they can access. Our team is here to guide you every step of the way and answer any questions you have.
