Children’s Treatment Centres (CTCs) in Ontario were originally established to serve children and youth with physical disabilities. Over the past 65 years, this service has fully evolved into a system that serves children and youth with physical, neurodevelopmental, communication and
complex medical needs. Services and supports are provided at home, at school and in the community, based on capacity and local community need.
