Please note
Registration is only open to residents of Clarington until March 19, 2023. Non-residents of Clarington (with a physical, developmental or communication challenge) may register beginning on March 20, 2023.

Learn what it takes to become a firefighter!
Clarington Emergency and Fire Services and the Community Services Department are excited to work with Grandview Kids to bring you a new and innovative Junior Firefighter (JFF) Camp. The camp is based on fire and personal safety, fire cause and prevention basics, firefighting equipment, and the importance of teamwork through exciting games and fun activities. In addition to fire-specific programming, campers will also participate in traditional day camp programming such as games, activities and crafts. This unforgettable week at camp will conclude with a Junior Firefighter Graduation Ceremony.
To participate in the Junior Firefighter Camp, your child must not engage in harmful behaviour to self or others. For your child’s safety, they must not be a flight risk and must respect a closed door. All campers must pass the daily Health Screen and wear a Grandview Kids-issued mask during indoor activities.*
*As some children and youth require an exemption to the mask requirements, please note that your child may interact with other campers not wearing a mask. We rely on families to complete the daily health screening and our enhanced safety measures to reduce the risk of any COVID-19 exposures or transmission.
