Junior Firefighter Camp
Ages 9 to 13 years
Registration is open only to residents of Clarington until May 31, 2022. Non-residents of Clarington (with a clinical diagnosis) may register beginning on June 1, 2022.
Clarington Emergency and Fire Services and the Community Services Department are excited to work with Grandview Kids to bring you a new and innovative Junior Firefighter (JFF) Camp. Learn what it takes to become a firefighter! The camp is based on fire and personal safety, the basics of fire cause and prevention, firefighting equipment, and the importance of teamwork through exciting games and fun activities. In addition to fire specific programming, campers will also participate in traditional day camp programming such as games, activities, and crafts. This unforgettable week at camp will conclude with a Junior Firefighter Graduation Ceremony. We are able to offer this camp at no cost due to the generosity of Ontario Power Generation. Your child must not engage in harmful behaviour to self or others. For your child’s safety, they must not be a flight risk and must respect a closed door.
