The Grandview Kids Development Department hosts two annual signature events: the Golf Fore Grandview Kids Charity Golf Classic and the Dream Big, Dream Brighter: Making the Future a Brighter Place Awards Gala. They also support numerous third-party fundraisers across the Durham Region. Whether through volunteering, purchasing tickets or sponsorship, participation in these events directly benefits the children and youth receiving care at Grandview Kids.
Each event offers a meaningful way to support local families while promoting your business. Additionally, initiatives like the Dufferin Concrete Ready-Mix Drum Program provide year-round brand visibility, featuring functional concrete drums and transport trucks that showcase sponsors to communities throughout Durham Region.
Golf Fore Grandview Kids Charity Golf Classic
For 29 years, the Golf Fore Grandview Kids Charity Golf Classic has been a community highlight. Attracting more than 150 dedicated golfers each spring, this premier event offers a valuable opportunity for businesses to gain visibility through sponsorship. Additionally, it offers an incredible day of camaraderie, friendship and philanthropy. Support from sponsors and participants enhances brand recognition for businesses and directly benefits the children, youth and families Grandview Kids serves.
Dream Big, Dream Brighter Awards Gala
The Dream Big, Dream Brighter: Making the Future a Brighter Place Awards Gala is a recent addition to Grandview Kids’ signature events, taking place in the later part of the year. In 2021, Elexicon Energy made a multi-year commitment to Grandview Kids, becoming the presenting sponsor of the gala for three consecutive years. Now entering its fourth year in 2025, the event continues to celebrate two outstanding Grandview Kids clients with the Spirit of Grandview Kids Awards. With support from local businesses, sponsorships and participation, this event raises funds for children and youth while also celebrating the opportunity to present two outstanding clients with an award for their dedication and spirit.
Sponsor the Drum program
Participants who sponsor the Ready-Mix Drum Program will have their logo proudly displayed on two trucks for one year. One truck is based at Dufferin Concrete’s Bowmanville location, and the other is at Dufferin Concrete’s Whitby location. The working trucks travel throughout the Durham Region for approximately 250 days per year.
