Friends and Sportsmanship!
Fun, Friends and Fitness is a program for children and youth with developmental disabilities, including Autism. Try basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey and racket sports in a safe and fun environment.
Each session will consist of:
- a dynamic warm up, “fun run”
- sport specific drills, group games
- the opportunity to explore the equipment through free choice, finished with a cool-down.
Goal: This program promotes physical activity, physical literacy and socialization through group participation.
Schedule
Start date: October 21, 2024, running until December 9, 2024
Time: 6:00 – 6:55 p.m. (child session) and 7:00 – 7:55 p.m. (youth session)
