Liam, age seven, is an incredibly happy and affectionate boy. He loves to play video games and Lego. He also enjoys reading a good book and playing with his siblings.
Liam also has Smith-Magenis Syndrome.
Smith-Magenis Syndrome is a developmental disorder that can affect many different parts of the body. Features of this condition include a mild to moderate intellectual disability, delayed speech and language skills, distinctive facial features, sleep disturbances, and can often come with behavioral problems.
Liam is now 7 and made incredible improvements during his time as a Grandview kid. Grandview helped Liam in so many ways, allowing him to receive physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
Thanks to Grandview, Liam has made gains with his communication, including speech and he is now able to communicate with his friends in class. The therapy has helped Liam become stronger and able to communicate better with others.
